About
I’m Erfan, and I live in Melbourne. I grew up in Iran and studied medicine in Canada. In Australia I started again in IT, at the bottom. I made senior in endpoint management, moved to endpoint security to lead application control for the business, and from there into artificial intelligence.
I learn from history, mostly from founders. With workflows I’ve built for myself, I take on the problems I think are worth solving.
How I think
Nobody can predict how things will go.
Each line is one way the next ten years could go, from the same start. Only one will happen, and nobody can say which.
So I plan to be wrong.
The book I’d hand anyone first is Nassim Taleb’s Fooled by Randomness.
Why Eli?
My mother’s name is Elham. It means inspiration. Eli is for her. The other names are short Persian words, made to sit beside it.

Most of my work is private, and I’m happy to walk anyone through it.
